Cindy is a dedicated support volunteer with an impressive 17 years of experience as a 911 Communications Dispatcher in Santa Cruz County, CA, and an additional 14 years as a dispatcher for California State Parks. Her career includes five years with the Santa Cruz Police Department and 13 years as a Cal Fire Communications Operator, where she also served as an instructor at the Cal Fire Academy for seven years, specializing in Law Enforcement dispatching.

After retiring from Cal Fire in 2018 and relocating to Oregon, Cindy felt a strong desire to remain engaged in public service. In 2023, she joined Tenmile Fire as a support volunteer and currently holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer for the Tenmile Volunteer Firefighters Association. Outside of her volunteer work, Cindy enjoys quilting, machine embroidery, attending craft fairs, and baking for farmers' markets, blending her passion for creativity with her commitment to her community.
